Birthday Boy

We have a three year old! I can't believe it! Jack loved his birthday this year and I felt like we celebrated all month almost. When we were in AZ my mom put together a party for him so we could celebrate with the family. I've still been feeling sick off and on so on his actual b-day we hung out and let him open some presents and we took him to see Hotel Transylvania. Jack loves his birthday and he already can't wait until next year :)

Happy Halloween

I tried carrying on the tradition of having Jack dress up in a 'Jack' costume, but Jack is old enough to know what is going on and he really wanted to be a bat. So we had Jack the bat for Halloween this year. He loved it and didn't want to take his costume off. The pants he wears for it are now called his bat pants. His costume turned out so cute thanks to my mom who made it for him :) I was in no mood to make a costume this year and they don't sell bat costumes anywhere. We had a fun time with family and going to the trunk or treat. Happy Halloween!

Jack has been so funny lately and cracking me up with all the things he says I just had to take a second and write down some things he's been saying.
We were just walking in the house from our car and he kept telling me and Marshall that we need to stick together. If Marshall would walk two steps ahead of us he would yell out, "Hey guys we need to stick together!"
As we were all walking together making sure that we were sticking together the way Jack wanted us to, Jack says, "Wait a second guys I got a wedgie." so we all stopped while Jack took care of things. lol I was laughing so hard I couldn't help it.
Anyways we love Jack and I need to do another post with pictures in it when I can load some up on Marshall's computer. We've been trying to get in as much Disneyland as we can lately since my pass is about to expire so we have tons of pictures from that.

Boys being boys

The other night I could hear Marshall and Jack laughing back in the bedroom so I went to check it out and found that Marshall was drawing a beard on Jack with my eyeliner... Wasn't expecting that one, but Jack was loving it. Marshall had the longest beard ever and he kept saying it was his "baby beard" and that he wasn't shaving until the baby was born. Don't worry he just shaved so I won't have to have a man with a foot long beard being my birthing coach.

Family Reunion

In July we had all of our family come to visit! We love our family so much and we're so grateful that we all get along and LOVE spending time together! Jack got some quality time in with his cousins and we all had a great time! I'm the worst at taking pictures so I only have a few...

Hamblin family reunion 2012! We're all sporting our awesome Wimbledon shirts after the tournament that Marshall and I (reigning champs) remained the champs for another year! And I know we will for many more to come :)
We were also able to spend time with my family  the very same weekend! We all had so much fun going out to eat, living it up on the beach, and watching the Olympics as much as possible. Me and my family got into an intense game of table tennis the Sunday that they were here :) We love having visitors and we were so glad to get so many over the summer even though I wasn't a very good host while dealing with morning sickness so hopefully you guys will all come back!

Growing

My belly grew so much this last month!

Jack Jack and the baby

I haven't been able to post because my computer hasn't let me put any new pictures on it for a few months now... So I was talking to Jack about the new baby coming in March this morning and he was saying really cute things that I needed to write down.

He is really into watching the videos they have on baby center about what your baby looks like inside your belly and it tells you everything that is happening with your baby. He was telling me how the baby's bones and brain are growing right now and that they baby is the size of an apple. He says the baby has to grow to be the size of a nana and then the size of a pumpkin before it is born. He's really into it and I think he thinks he's looking at the baby in my belly when he watches the video.

We went to the park with a friend yesterday and his friend has a baby brother and this morning Jack was telling me how the baby drinks milk from a bottle and then falls asleep. He was saying he wants to help feed the baby when it's born... I'm not ready to explain nursing yet so I just said ok, but mommy will feed the baby most of the time :)

Jack is so excited to be a big brother and we're so happy to have our family grow a little bit bigger. I can't wait to see him with the new baby and how he will react when he finds out what it's really all about to have a baby at home with us. It's really cute how he's noticing everything about babies and what they need, but we'll see how he handles it when it happens for real.
